Ken McConnell
At age 14 Ken’s dad bought him an old military service cycle. It was a belt drive single cylinder two stroke dinosaur with extra large crash bars.. It worked well if the carbon was chiseled out of the exhaust port weekly.
From there he graduated to a 175 Puch, an Indian single, a Royal Enfield, Honda 750 and an 1100 Goldwing. After a 16 year hiatus due to marriage, Ken was standing in the Heber Valley Railroad parking lot when Bob Mabey rolled in on his Triumph Bonneville. "Take it for a ride" Bob suggested. It was like having the taste of a Gin and Tonic flow over your tongue after leaving an AA meeting. The next week he was the proud owner of a new Bonneville. The summer of 2005 Bob, Ken and four other hearty souls rode four Beemers, a Goldwing and the Bonneville to the Arctic Circle in Canada. It was during that adventure Ken saw the quality and performance of a BMW motorcycle. He now owns a 2001 GS 1150.
Oh yeah. He has had some experience in web site design and is currently in the high paying position with the Beehive Beemers as the Web Master.
